Consultation - an initial meeting to discuss the potential project and determine timelines and costing. Sample gowns from the website may be tried on or looked at to help determine style suitability. Preliminary sketches, fabrics and colours are chosen. A consultation fee of $75 is collected, which is deducted from the total garment cost. Initial measurements are taken and undergarments & accessories are discussed.

Project Proposal - After design consideration and fabric sourcing, an email outlining the potential project costs and suggested scheduling is sent for review. If the proposal is satisfactory, a deposit of 50% is collected and the design schedule is finalized.

Toille Fitting - a dummy garment is tried on to evaluate fit and suitability. Fabrics and colours are finalized and garment detailing is narrowed down. Undergarments MUST be brought to this fitting Minor design changes at the toille stage are expected. Drastic changes, such that new patterns must be drafted and a new toille produced, are an additional $150 charge. If a client is unsure of the choice between two styles, two toilles should be requested. Design changes past the toille stage can be a substantial charge, so it is highly recommended that any queries be dealt with at this fitting.

FIrst Fitting - the unfinished garment is tried on to finalize details and determine hem length. Undergarments MUST be brought to this fitting. Ideally, shoes should be brought so the hem can be finalized, but this may be left until the final fitting.

Second Fitting - the finished garment is tried on so the client can feel confident with finished product. Typically, the garment is then stored and refit closer to the event. Final payment is due at this time.

Final Fitting - 10 to 14 days before the event, the garment is refit to a accomodate weight fluctuations. If shoes were not previously brought to a fitting, the hem is marked now.

Garment Delivery or Pickup - garment is steamed, pressed or packed for travel as the client has requested.
